The revised syllabus places greater emphasis on technology, business skills and the broader responsibilities of the modern bookkeeper. ICB is also developing an AI Academy to help members understand how to use artificial intelligence confidently and responsibly.

These initiatives form part of the organisation’s plans for the years ahead. As bookkeeping practices evolve, access to relevant training and professional support will remain important to members at different stages of their careers.
